Prasonisi – a paradise for beach lovers

Prasonisi is basically a Greek word which means Green Island. Prasonisi is the beautiful place in Rhodes Island Greece and Prasonisi beach is a must see attraction for the tourists visiting Rhodes. The beach is tranquil at its left shore and windy on the right. No matter you are a peace lover or enjoy breath taking water sports, you will always find something excited to do at the beach of Prasonisi. During the months of July to August, as the wind blow the kite-surfers and board surfers make a good view all around in Prasonisi. Prasonisi is really a good place for tourists who love wind surfing.

Windsurfing:

Prasonisi is really famous for kite surfing as well as windsurfing, as almost all time the wind blows in Prasonisi. It does not offer people with large restaurants or night clubs but it provide them with surfing activities so that they could enjoy and relax. These activities can also be enjoyed with family and friends.

Sightseeing:

No doubt, wind surfing, sun bathing and kite surfing are the two major activities being performed in Prasonisi but sightseeing itself is a fun. Walking along the beach and seeing the clear water, greenery and surroundings is an exciting activity.

Eating:

There are a number of restaurants and beach taverns where you can enjoy delicious food especially fish.

Training and Rentals:

Three training and rental stations are also there that provide kite rentals, lessons and other services: These are Wind4 fun Rodos, Prasonisi center and Pro-center of Chirstof Kirschner. You can hire surfboards and wetsuits from there but most of the people visit there with their own costumes.

Relaxation:

Not only you can relax at the beach but can also find quality hotels in the nearby areas. Oasis hotel is located just 300 meters away from the beach so that after windsurfing you can relax there.
