Faliraki Water Park

The beautiful resort of Faliraki hosts one of the largest water parks of Europe. This water park is called “The Faliraki Water Park” and is easily accessible from surrounding areas due to its centralized location. This strategic location also has a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea, which is a majestic deep blue sea during the summers. Many tourists flock to the water park and spend the entire day there, due to the sheer number of activities available.

Variety of Rides:

There are around 20 rides on offer at the Faliraki Water Park. They are separately labelled for their level of thrill and speed and for the same reason some are exclusively for adults. Rides for children consist of Wave Pool – which generates large ocean sized waves and the Lazy River and Pirate Ship are amongst the many choices for children. For those thrill seekers, the Turbo and Twister Slides provide a strong adrenaline rush. The Kamikaze is also the Park’s most popular ride but pales in comparison to the Free Fall which is truly exhilarating and gets the pulse racing in no time!

Food and Drink:

The Water Park houses several restaurants and refreshment bars. The two snack bars are called the Carsaro Snack and the Pacific Snack and offer fast food items, like hamburgers, nuggets and pizza and a plenty of refreshments and desserts. The refreshment bars are 5 in total, dotted along the entire resort and offering hot and cold drinks which include juices, slush, cocktail, beers and ice-cream.

Other Amenities:

The Faliraki Water Park has 35 certified lifeguards who ensure no accidents take place, as the management is very particular about visitor’s safety. The children are issued life jackets, without any additional charges. There are plenty of showers, washrooms, lockers and telephone booths present at various locations. The Souvenir Shop offers T-shirts, towels and caps as well as other things that might be needed such as sun-blocks of all varieties.
